The Outdoor range is opened from 8:30am to dusk.  The Indoor Range is open, mid-range shooting is now permitted at all 6 points. Please refrain from congregating another member scans in prior to you.  As always ensure the gate is closed at all times.

Freeport Revolver and Rifle Association is proud to announce, the area formally known as the “sandpit” area will re-open Saturday June 25th at 8:30am.  The 50′ line will be authorized for use as well if convenient for other shooters wanting to shoot outdoors.  At this time only paper targets will be authorized.  No metal plates until further notice.  Target stands will be provided in front of the Metal backstop.  Please do not move them from that area.

With the reopening, large bore rifles will no long be allowed in the “Turning Target” area.  That was a temporary solution while we were under construction. The only rifles allowed in that area are .22lr .

We thank you for your patience during the construction.

The range is only open to active members, Family members. Guest who are not members of Freeport R&R are restricted at this time.  Please do not bring non-member guests to accompany you at this time.  Active Junior members with a valid ID badge are welcome to accompany their parents.

While shooting outdoors and indoors, please abide by the 6’ “social distancing” rule.  If you are unable to maintain 6’ from the next shooter outside, you are required to wear a mask.  All regular range rules and safety procedures for the outdoor range still apply.
